Pumpkins are a warm-season vegetable that can be grown throughout much of the United States. Besides being used as jack-o’-lanterns at Halloween, pumpkins are used to make delicious pumpkin pies, muffins, bread, cookies and soup.Pumpkins are fun! Their size and color, smell and taste make them perfect for children’s observation and exploration.

In this art activity, artists use simple art materials: watercolor paper, watercolor paints and colored pencils to create a realistic. These were created in a 2- 40 minute session.
